  • What is a nano and why is Nano Emulsified CBD so effective?
A nano is a microscopic unit of measurement equal to one billionth of a meter or 100,000 times smaller than the width of a human hair. The particles that make upstandard CBD oil are about 2000 nanometers. It is physically impossible for your body to absorb standard CBD oil at the cellular level because the particles are just too big. This results in decreased bioavailability and decreased absorption of the CBD, meaning, your body takes in less CBD and it takes much longer to feel the effects. Nano Emulsified CBD particles are 30 nanometers. NanoRetreat CBD will be absorbed by your body at a cellular level, through cell walls, rather than through digestion. This means increased absorption (up to 80%!) as well as a much faster and more effective therapeutic effect.
  • What is CBD?
CBD is the chemical compound Cannabindiol, found in hemp. This naturally occurring substance is derived directly from the hemp plant, which is the non-psychoactive cousin of the marijuana plant. CBD is not psychoactive and will not cause users to feel altered or high in any way.
  • Will CBD make me feel high?
No. CBD is not psychoactive and will not cause users to feel altered or high in any way.
  • What is the Endocannabinoid System?
The various systems in our body all strive toward the same goal: balance between health and function of the mind and body. The same way the nervous system, circulatory system and immune system all work together performing essential functions of the body, the endocannabinoid system also plays a vital role in keeping our bodies and minds healthy. This physiological system is located in every mammal, including humans. The endocannabinoid system has receptors located throughout our bodies; in tissue, glands, and major organs like the brain. The receptors of the endocannabinoid system, called CB1 and CB2, bind to both ingested phytocannabinoids from the cannabis plant as well as natural endocannabinoids our bodies produce. It is in the process of cannabinoids binding to the endocannabinoid receptors in our bodies that produce the therapeutic effects of cannabis. It is worth noting that there are none of these receptors located inside the brain stem, making a fatal dose impossible.
  • What are Cannabinoids?
Cannabinoids are naturally occurring compounds found in the cannabis plant. These compounds bind to the endocannabinoid receptors found throughout the body, which allows us to feel the therapeutic relief cannabis can provide. Common cannabinoids include THC, CBD, CBC, THC-V, CBG and CBN.
